Bathroom Renovation Aftercare Tips

✨Cleaning Your Bathroom Post Renovation✨

When you get your bathroom renovated, you want to do all you can to keep it feeling like new forever!
These aftercare tips for your new bathroom, will ensure you get the longest life possible out of your new bathroom.

Whether you choose Bathroom Busters or someone else for your renovation, we highly recommend you follow these tips.

*When you are getting your bathroom renovated, ensure that there is adequate ventilation. If your bathroom has no windows, an extractor fan is a must! This is going to help with removing the moisture from your bathroom and therefore preventing any mould growth. Always open windows when possible.

*Have a Window Squeegee in your bathroom. Once you are finished having your shower/bath, quickly rinse down your glass with water and then remove the excess water with your window squeegee. If you leave the soap and water to dry on your glass, the soap scum will then harden and will cause it to stain over time.

*Also use your squeegee to remove condensation from your windows and mirrors.

*The use of bleach in toilet bowls is acceptable for cleaning but do not leave it sitting for a long period of time. Do not also place any products such as bleach toilet blocks into your cistern tank. This can damage internal fittings of your cistern.

*DO NOT USE HARSH/ABRASIVE CHEMICALS. Bathroom shower screens and baths screens are produced with a protective film. Harsh chemicals can strip this protective layer back and you will get that cloudy look from your glass. Using strong chemicals on taps, shower heads and mirrors can cause the same effect. All you need to clean your bathroom is warm weak washing up solution and a soft cloth, rinse immediately with clean water and dry with a clean soft cloth. There are also PH Neutral cleaning products available.

*Do not scrub or scour any of the products in your bathroom.

*If there is a big build up of limescale, the occasional use of mild non-abrasive bathroom limescale remover can be used. A recommended solution is white vinegar, but it must be washed away immediately with cold water and dried down.

Using harsh/abrasive chemicals may cause the materials to corrode and can void your guarantee, as some manufactures have specific maintenance and care guides that must be followed. Always check these guidelines with you manufacture/supplier as some may vary.
